If you're looking for a place where your ideas matter, where innovation is celebrated, and where you can help shape a brighter financial future, join us at Netwealth.
Some people see a payment. You see everything behind it.
You notice the systems that make it happen, the controls that keep it secure, the regulations that shape it, and the process improvements that make it more efficient.
When things don’t quite add up, you’re the person others trust for answers.
If you’re the person colleagues turn to for advice, enjoy solving complex problems, and like helping others build their capability, this could be the perfect role for you.
We're looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to become the technical backbone of our Payments function. This isn't a people leadership role, but your influence will be felt across the business
This role supports all three Payments teams: Wrap Payments, Super Payments, and Adjustments, and plays a key role in strengthening technical capability, process consistency, and quality outcomes across the function.
The work is varied. One day you might resolve a complex payment escalation; the next, you could be identifying a process improvement opportunity, supporting testing for a new platform enhancement, or helping team members develop their technical knowledge and confidence.
You’ll help translate complex regulatory or technical changes into practical, real-world operational outcomes.
We’re looking for someone who truly enjoys being curious, analytical, and focused on solutions. You’ll bring experience in payments, superannuation, or financial services operations, along with strong knowledge of payment processes, controls, and regulatory obligations. Knowledge of SuperStream and superannuation requirements will help you to hit the ground running
You'll thrive in this role if you're the type of person who:
- Loves solving complex problems and getting to the root cause
- Enjoys coaching and sharing knowledge with others
- Can influence outcomes without relying on formal authority
- Sees opportunities to improve processes and isn't afraid to act on them
- Balances customer outcomes, operational efficiency and risk considerations with confidence
If you're ready to use your technical expertise to make a real impact across payments operations, we'd love to hear from you.
