This Cookies Policy explains how ApplyBandit uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) on our website. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Some are essential for a site to work; others are optional and help the site’s owner understand and improve how it’s used. We group ours into two kinds: strictly necessary, and optional.

Strictly necessary cookies (always on)

These are required to run the Service and can’t be switched off. They don’t track you for advertising. They include cookies and local storage that:

  • keep you signed in and secure your session;
  • remember your preferences, such as light/dark appearance;
  • record your cookie choice so we don’t ask again; and
  • protect against abuse and keep the site working.

Optional cookies (only with your consent)

We only set these after you accept them using the consent banner shown on your first visit. They help us understand usage and diagnose problems so we can improve the Service:

  • Analytics — aggregate, privacy-respecting measurement of which pages and features are used, so we can improve them.
  • Diagnostics & error monitoring — information that helps us detect and fix errors and performance issues, including optional session diagnostics used only to reproduce a fault.

If you decline, none of these optional cookies or trackers are loaded and only strictly necessary cookies remain.

Changing your choice

You can change your mind at any time. Clearing your browser’s site data for ApplyBandit will remove your stored choice and bring back the consent banner on your next visit, so you can accept or decline again. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some strictly necessary cookies are needed for the site to function.

Third parties

Where optional analytics or diagnostics are enabled with your consent, some processing is carried out by specialist service providers acting on our behalf and bound by contract to protect your information.
