<p><strong>About the role:</strong></p>
<p>This role owns the day-to-day running of hipages' FP&A function, taking accountability for how the Group monitors, models and reports its commercial performance. The Senior FP&A Analyst is the custodian of hipages Group's financial model, driving accurate budgeting and forecasting grounded in well-supported commercial assumptions and prioritised strategic initiatives, and delivering the regular, insightful reporting the Senior Leadership Team and Board rely on.</p>
<p>Beyond the core FP&A remit, the role carries two additional dimensions: providing analytical and modelling support to the VP Commercial & Strategy on M&A engagements as they arise, and leading the dashboarding and automation of FP&A deliverables to lift the speed, consistency and quality of the function's output.</p>
<p>This is a hands-on yet ownership-oriented role in a fast-paced, publicly listed Australian tech company. It would best suit a commercially minded finance professional ready to step up from a support capacity into a role with real autonomy, breadth and impact.</p>

<p><strong>How you will add value:</strong></p>
<p><strong><em>FP&A ownership</em></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Own the monitoring and analysis of hipages' commercial performance, preparing regular (including weekly) analysis and reporting for the Senior Leadership Team.</li>
<li>Own and maintain hipages Group's financial model — translating commercial assumptions, stakeholder input and prioritised strategic initiatives into detailed, defensible budgets and forecasts.</li>
<li>Lead the FP&A contribution to monthly Board reporting, including commentary, commercial insights and variance analysis.</li>
<li>Partner with functional department heads to help them own and manage their budgets throughout the year, acting as a trusted commercial sounding board.</li>
<li>Assist VP, Commercial and Strategy with ASX announcements and contribute to cross functional initiatives and projects.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><em>M&A support</em></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Support the VP Commercial & Strategy on M&A and corporate development engagements as they arise — including financial modelling, valuation support, due diligence analysis and inputs into Board papers.</li>
<li>Help structure and pressure-test deal assumptions, synergies and scenarios with the same rigour applied to the core financial model.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><em>Dashboarding & Automation</em></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Design, build and maintain dashboards that make FP&A insights more accessible, timely and self-serve for the Senior Leadership Team and functional leaders.</li>
<li>Drive the automation of recurring FP&A deliverables and analysis, reducing manual effort and improving reliability, in close collaboration with the Finance and Data teams.</li>
<li>Champion the continuous improvement of commercial finance processes and tooling.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>About you:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>4–7 years of post-graduate experience, ideally combining a professional accounting background with commercial / FP&A experience in industry.</li>
<li>CA or CPA qualified.</li>
<li>Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience owning or substantially driving a budgeting and forecasting process.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, with the confidence to partner with and influence senior stakeholders.</li>
</ul>
<p><em>Desirable:</em></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience building dashboards and automating reporting (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar), with working knowledge of SQL.</li>
<li>Exposure to M&A, corporate development or transaction support.</li>
<li>Experience in a listed company or fast-paced technology / marketplace environment.</li>
