<p>DoorDash is a complex and constantly evolving business; The global BizOps Analytics team is primarily responsible for crafting the story about business performance (what’s happening, why is it happening, what we should do about it), diving deep on key KPI trends, and surfacing insights and recommendations to stakeholders to ensure we understand our current business climate and react in a data-informed manner. </p>
<h2>About the Role</h2>
<p>You will be a key BizOps partner, working closely with the Strategy & Operations team and the ANZ Executive Leadership Team to turn data into actionable insights—understanding what is happening, why it is happening, and what actions should be taken next.</p>
<p>You will focus on the ANZ markets, helping to drive strategic initiatives across the region. You will adapt and apply best practices from the US business to local market dynamics while providing data-driven recommendations that inform business decisions.</p>
<p>DoorDash operates a three-sided marketplace comprising Consumers, Merchants, and Dashers. In this role, you will work across all three groups to identify opportunities, solve complex business challenges, and drive growth and operational excellence.</p>
<p>This is a hybrid role, with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote.</p>

<li>Use quantitative analysis and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand what drives our business</li>
<li>Build full-cycle analytics experiments, reports, and dashboards using SQL, Python, R, or other scripting and statistical tools</li>
<li>Identify and measure levers to help move essential metrics and make recommendations</li>
<li>Work backwards from understanding and sizing problems to ideating solutions</li>
<li>Produce recommendations and use statistical techniques and hypothesis testing and other experimentation techniques to validate your findings.</li>
</ul>
<h2>We're excited about you because you have…</h2>
<ul>
<li>6+ years of experience in data analytics, consulting, or related quantitative roles and a degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a similar domain.</li>
<li>The insight to take ambiguous problems and solve them in a structured, hypothesis-driven, data-supported way</li>
<li>Experience leading /owning strategic projects to completion with multiple cross-functional teams</li>
<li>Excellent stakeholder management skills, know how to effectively collaborate well with strategy, operations, product, finance and engineering while prioritising competing needs</li>
<li>Very experienced with SQL queries, Basic ETL, Regression techniques </li>
<li>Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python or R</li>
<li>Experience working with experimentation techniques (A/B testing, Causal Inference) and interpreting hypothesis testing</li>
