About the role

About the team

The APAC Marketing team's mission is to engage priority audiences through impactful and relevant programs that drive awareness, growth, and adoption of Stripe across the region. Our Executive Marketing function sits at the intersection of marketing, sales, and senior leadership — orchestrating the programs that build and sustain Stripe's most strategic executive relationships across Asia Pacific.

About the role

The APAC Executive Marketing role owns the suite of programs that connect Stripe's leadership with the region's most important business executives. This is fundamentally a program ownership and governance role: you will design the frameworks, playbooks, tooling, and processes that enable teams across Australia/New Zealand, Japan, Greater China, India and Southeast Asia to execute these programs with consistency and excellence — rather than personally executing every detail.

The programs in scope include:

Corporate hospitality — activating Stripe's global sponsorship portfolio to deliver premium relationship-building experiences for executives in key markets

Regional Advisory Councils (RAC) — extending the impact of Stripe's global Customer Advisory Board into APAC priority markets (Japan, Greater China, AUNZ) through targeted councils that gather voice-of-customer feedback and deepen executive relationships

Global Delegation Experience — leading the APAC chapter of Stripe's invite-only delegation to Sessions in San Francisco, from field-level nomination through white-glove program execution in partnership with Corporate Events

Executive visit orchestration — ensuring that Stripe executives visiting APAC are strategically deployed, their schedules are full and high-impact, and all outcomes are consistently documented

Executive profile elevation — partnering with communications and marketing to build earned thought leadership presence for Stripe's APAC executives through speaking, social, press, and subject matter authority positioning

Executive intelligence — building and maintaining a structured database of the most important executive stakeholders across Stripe's priority and must-win accounts in each market, ensuring every program is engaging the right people

The ideal candidate brings a sales-aligned, account-centric approach to marketing — equally energised by designing and building programs as by running them. They are as comfortable in a quarterly business review as a marketing planning session, instinctively build critical paths and governance structures, and know how to move complex programs forward across a matrix of stakeholders without having direct authority over any of them. They can read an account situation, understand where an executive engagement creates real leverage, and work with a sales leader to prioritise accordingly. They are as effective influencing a regional sales director as they are coordinating with an executive assistant on a scheduling detail — and they understand that both matter equally to whether a program lands well. They bring the operational discipline to translate strategic intent into repeatable, scalable programs across markets as culturally and commercially distinct as Japan, Greater China, and Australia — whether that means building from the ground up or evolving what already exists.

What you'll do

Program Frameworks and Governance

Build scalable playbooks, governance models, and operating processes for each executive program that regional field marketing teams can execute consistently across markets

Define program objectives, success metrics, and critical path milestones; maintain documentation and tracking standards across all programs

Identify and implement AI tooling, agency partnerships, and delegation models to manage operational complexity without expanding headcount

Executive Intelligence and Database

Define the eligibility criteria for executive stakeholders across Stripe's most important existing and must-win accounts in each APAC market — establishing a clear framework for who should be engaged through executive programs

Build and maintain a comprehensive APAC executive database, drawing on first-party sources (sales nominations, CRM data, meeting history) and third-party sources (LinkedIn, industry data, event participation) to identify and verify the right stakeholders at each priority account

Validate the database with regional sales leaders to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with commercial priorities

Tag and segment executives in Stripe's systems to enable easy access, filtering, and reporting — ensuring every executive program can draw on a reliable, current picture of who the most important stakeholders are across the region

Corporate Hospitality

Own the strategy and governance for Stripe's sports and cultural sponsorship hospitality programs in APAC, aligning activation design to customer relationship goals

Partner with brand, regional marketing leaders, and sales to define guest identification criteria, invitation processes, and on-site experience frameworks

Build repeatable activation playbooks that regional field marketing teams can execute with minimal lift and consistent quality

Regional Advisory Councils

Serve as the regional program DRI for the APAC RAC rollout across Japan, Greater China, and AUNZ, working in close partnership with the Global Executive Marketing lead

Build and maintain the governance model, member selection criteria, communications templates, and program cadence for each market

Partner with regional PMMs, sales leaders, and in-country GTM teams to shape meeting agendas; ensure each council delivers genuine two-way value for members and Stripe

Global Delegation Experience (Sessions)

Lead the APAC nomination process for Stripe's invite-only Sessions delegation, working with field sales across all APAC sub-regions to identify and qualify delegates

Partner with Corporate Events to design the APAC delegate experience, from pre-arrival communications to on-site hospitality and networking

Own post-event follow-up frameworks and measurement to capture engagement outcomes and feed insights back to account teams

Executive Visit Orchestration

Build the systems and standards that ensure visiting Stripe executives are maximally utilised in region — including a framework for identifying the highest-impact engagements, a playbook for promoting their profiles ahead of visits, and a briefing and outcomes documentation standard

Work with executive assistants, sales leaders, and regional marketing to ensure exec calendars are filled with the right meetings, all documented consistently

Act as the connective tissue between executive offices and regional field teams

Executive Profile Elevation

Partner with Communications, social media, and marketing functions to build a deliberate thought leadership presence for APAC Stripe executives across earned channels — speaking, press, podcasts, LinkedIn, and industry roundtables

Develop a regional calendar of executive visibility opportunities and maintain an exec speaker bench with clear zone-of-genius positioning for each leader

Reduce reliance on paid and sponsored appearances by building organic demand for Stripe executives as recognised regional experts

Measurement and Reporting

Define the measurement framework for each program — including member satisfaction, attendance, pipeline influence, and advocacy metrics

Maintain a consistent reporting cadence to regional and global stakeholders on program performance

Who you are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

8+ years of B2B marketing experience, with meaningful tenure in executive programs, high-touch relationship marketing, or sales-aligned marketing roles

Deep APAC experience: you understand the business and cultural nuances of operating across key markets including Australia/NZ, Japan, Greater China, and Southeast Asia, and can tailor programs accordingly

A strong instinct for working closely with sales and GTM teams — a track record of building process and governance from the ground up, managing critical paths, and navigating complex stakeholder matrices across enterprise accounts

Proven ability to operate effectively across all levels: engaging credibly with C-suite executives and senior leaders, while also working through executive assistants and operational support functions to ensure flawless program delivery

Excellent written and verbal communication skills — you write sharp briefs, crisp playbooks, and polished executive communications

Strong organisational and project management skills, with experience running multiple concurrent programs across markets and time zones

Proficiency with AI tooling and the drive to apply it to reduce operational overhead; comfort directing agencies and external vendors to extend execution capacity

Direct experience running executive marketing programs such as Customer Advisory Boards, advisory councils, or executive sponsorship programs

Experience activating sports or cultural sponsorships as part of an enterprise relationship marketing strategy

Familiarity with CRM, account-based marketing platforms, and event management tools — including using data to build and maintain stakeholder databases

Background in fintech, payments, cloud services, or enterprise SaaS

Experience marketing to both enterprise and digital-native/platform companies

Startup mentality: bias to action, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to build structure and repeatable process where none currently exists

Demonstrated success delivering executive programs in close partnership with global teams and external agencies
